Your Child Joins a Cohort

During the cohort, learners will:

  • build friendships

  • participate in weekly live sessions

  • complete collaborative projects

  • reflect on what they are learning

  • celebrate together through a final showcase

Cohorts are grouped by age range whenever possible so learners can participate with peers at a similar developmental stage.

Every Cohort Has Its Own Adventure

No two cohorts are exactly alike. Each cohort is built around a meaningful learning theme and supported by guided activities, discussion prompts, and curriculum-connected learning experiences.

One group might explore sustainability.

Another might investigate world food systems.

Another could examine entrepreneurship across cultures.

Another could compare daily life in communities around the world.

Each theme becomes the lens through which learners build friendships and discover new perspectives.

Curriculum-Connected Learning

CVEP is more than a social experience. Each cohort is designed to support meaningful academic growth through discussion, reflection, projects, and real-world themes.

Depending on the cohort focus, learning experiences may connect to:

Social Studies

English Language Arts

Social Emotional Learning (SEL)

Cultural Awareness

International Baccalaureate (IB)

Project-Based Learning

Global Competency

Advisory / Enrichment

Detailed curriculum documentation is available for families, co-ops, and education savings account programs that require supporting information.

A Note to Parents

We know joining a new program can feel like a big step, especially when live conversations and new peers are involved.

That is why each cohort is intentionally small, guided by trained facilitators, and designed to create a welcoming environment where every learner feels seen, heard, and encouraged.

Learners receive structure before, during, and after each live session, and families receive cohort placement and scheduling updates as groups are finalized.

Parents are not expected to teach the live sessions. CULTURED provides the facilitation, prompts, and learning structure.
